📊 Player by Player
🔥 Jannik Sinner (Seed 2)
Sinner arrives in Miami as the Indian Wells champion and in the form of his life. At the previous tournament he did not drop a single set — he moved through the entire draw with minimal resistance and defeated Medvedev in two tiebreaks in the final. Mentally he is at his peak, physically in perfect shape. It is hard to imagine a player in better form heading into a big tournament.
Form: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
⚡ Carlos Alcaraz (Seed 1)
Alcaraz arrived at Indian Wells as the favourite and looked the part until the semifinals — he had not dropped a set before facing Medvedev. The semifinal loss 3-6, 6-7 will linger, but Alcaraz is the type of player who rebounds quickly from bad results. The world number one arrives in Miami with a point to prove.
Form: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
💪 Alexander Zverev (Seed 3)
Zverev reached the Indian Wells semifinals where he lost to Sinner 2-6, 4-6 in a dominant performance from the world number one. Before that he had not dropped a set all tournament. His form is good — Sinner was simply on another level. Zverev arrives in Miami with confidence and the desire to go deeper.
Form: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
🎾 Taylor Fritz (Seed 6)
Fritz lost in the round of 16 at Indian Wells — defeated by Michelsen in three sets. For a home player on familiar courts that was a disappointment. However Fritz is a player who tends to improve as the hard court season progresses and Miami has historically been a good tournament for him. Expect a better performance than at Indian Wells.
Form: 🔥🔥🔥
🎾 Felix Auger-Aliassime (Seed 7)
Auger-Aliassime lost in the round of 16 at Indian Wells to Draper in three sets. The Canadian has shown improved form in recent months — his serve is sharper, his baseline game more consistent. Miami has historically been a good tournament for him and he arrives with the desire to go deep.
Form: 🔥🔥🔥
⚠️ Lorenzo Musetti (Seed 4)
Musetti lost in the second round at Indian Wells to Fucsovics — a surprising result for a player of his ranking. The Italian is known for inconsistency on hard courts and that loss was a reminder of it. He arrives in Miami with a question mark — was that just a bad day or a sign of deeper uncertainty on this surface?
Form: 🔥🔥
⚠️ Alex De Minaur (Seed 5)
De Minaur lost in the third round at Indian Wells to Korda — also a disappointing result. The Australian is a player with excellent movement and a big heart, but on hard courts he sometimes lacks the firepower to finish points. Miami traditionally suits him well — he has always performed here.
Form: 🔥🔥
⚠️ Ben Shelton (Seed 8)
Shelton lost in the third round at Indian Wells to Tien — a loss that stung given that Tien is a younger American and direct competition for his ranking. Shelton is a player of enormous potential with a devastating serve, but he continues to show inconsistency in key moments of matches. Miami is his chance to respond.

🔮 Conclusion
Sinner is far ahead of everyone in terms of form. Alcaraz and Zverev arrive with solid form from Indian Wells. Musetti, De Minaur and Shelton have questions to answer in the early rounds of Miami.
