Taylor Fritz – Brandon Nakashima 2:1 (6:3, 3:6, 6:3)
In the expectedly tense American derby, Fritz managed to break his compatriot’s resistance after an hour and 48 minutes of play. The spectators enjoyed a top-tier serving performance from both sides, but the third seed’s experience ultimately made the difference.

- Aces and Serve: Nakashima recorded 14 aces compared to Fritz’s 13, but Fritz had a much better realization of points on his first serve (80% versus Nakashima’s 79%).
- Break point conversion (The deciding factor): Fritz was incredibly rational when it mattered most. He converted 2 of his 3 break point opportunities (66%), while Nakashima realized only one of his 4 chances (25%). Fritz saved 3 out of 4 break points he faced.
- Total points: Fritz won a total of 81 points (53%), while Nakashima stopped at 72 (47%).

Rafael Jodar – Alejandro Tabilo 2:1 (6:7, 6:4, 6:4)
Young Rafael Jodar continues to write the most beautiful story of the tournament! Despite losing the first set in a marathon tie-break (6:8), the Spaniard did not give up and celebrated after two hours and 26 minutes of exhausting battle against the Chilean.
Key match statistics:
- Service fortress: What is particularly impressive is the fact that Jodar did not lose a single service game in the match – he won all 16 (100%)! He faced only one break point during the entire match and successfully saved it.
- Pressure on the opponent: While Jodar routinely protected his serve, Tabilo was constantly under pressure. The Spaniard created 6 break point opportunities, utilizing two, which was just enough for the comeback and triumph. Tabilo saved 4 out of 6 break points.
- Controlling the points: Jodar dictated the pace of the match, winning a fantastic 101 points (52%), while Tabilo finished with 92 points won.
