The biggest upset of the day was undoubtedly the early exit of the fourth seed. Camilo Ugo Carabelli defeated Karen Khachanov in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4. This quick duel lasted only 1 hour and 14 minutes.
The statistic that best illustrates the Russian’s struggles on the return is that Khachanov failed to earn a single break point (0/0) throughout the entire match.
