Dream Final in the Principality: Ruthless Sinner and Solid Alcaraz Set Up a Clash for the Trophy!

We got the final the entire tennis world was hoping for! The first and second seeds of the tournament, Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner, justified their roles as the biggest favorites and, without dropping a set in the semifinals, set up a mutual clash for the prestigious Monte Carlo Masters trophy.

Sinner’s Demonstration of Power Against Zverev

Italian Jannik Sinner continues to play the tennis of his life. In the first semifinal, he literally swept Alexander Zverev off the court, winning 2-0 (6-1, 6-4) in just one hour and 23 minutes of play.

Sinner completely neutralized the German tactically, and the statistics show it best:

  • The Italian was surgically precise on break points, achieving a perfect 100% conversion rate (4/4).
  • Sinner finished the match with 22 winners and only 11 unforced errors.
  • Particularly impressive was his performance after landing his first serve, where he won an incredible 87% of points (20/23).
  • On the other hand, Zverev was completely powerless – he finished the match without a single ace, with only 9 winners, and as many as 18 unforced errors. The German failed to earn a single break point opportunity during the entire match.

Alcaraz Stops Vacherot’s Fairytale

In the second semifinal, Carlos Alcaraz routinely dealt with the biggest surprise of the tournament, Valentin Vacherot. The Spaniard won 2-0 in sets (6-4, 6-4) in a match that lasted one hour and 25 minutes.

Although Vacherot put up solid resistance, the quality of the first seed prevailed in the key moments:

  • Alcaraz recorded 22 direct points (winners), along with 20 unforced errors.
  • Whenever the Spaniard approached the net, the point went to him – he had a perfect 100% success rate (5 out of 5 points won at the net).
  • Alcaraz converted 3 out of 4 offered break points.
  • Vacherot recorded 11 winners and 21 unforced errors, with a weaker net realization of 46% (6 out of 13).
