Quarterfinal results and analysis for the Indian Wells ATP Masters 1000 tournament on March 12–13, 2026.

The BNP Paribas Open 2026 quarterfinals are complete. Four matches, four stories — and the semifinals are set. Sinner, Alcaraz, Zverev and Medvedev advance.

Match of the Round — Tien vs Sinner

Learner Tien pushed Sinner hard but the world number one was too clinical in the end. The young Californian won the first set and had the crowd on their feet, but Sinner raised his level when it mattered most and closed out the match with characteristic precision.

Result: Sinner def. Tien 6-1, 6-2

Draper vs Medvedev — Defending Champion vs Russian Machine

The biggest upset of the quarterfinals. Jack Draper, fresh off his stunning win over Đoković, continued his incredible run by defeating Medvedev in straight sets. The British left-hander was aggressive from the first ball — his serve caused Medvedev constant problems and his forehand was relentless. Medvedev had no answer.

Result: Draper def. Medvedev 6-1, 7-5

Alcaraz vs Norrie — Two-Time Champion Delivers

Exactly as expected. Alcaraz was clinical and efficient, giving Norrie no chance to establish his game. The defending champion advances to the semifinals without breaking a sweat.

Result: Alcaraz def. Norrie 6-3, 6-4

Fils vs Zverev — German Consistency Wins Out

Zverev was the better player throughout. Fils competed well but Zverev’s serve and flat groundstrokes were too much to handle on this surface. The German advances to a highly anticipated semifinal against Sinner.

Result: Zverev def. Fils 6-2, 6-3

Semifinals Set:

🏆 13.03. — Zverev A. vs Sinner J. 🏆 13.03. — Alcaraz C. vs Draper J.

Looking Ahead

The semifinals deliver exactly the matchups the draw promised — with one major surprise. Draper’s elimination of Medvedev sets up a blockbuster clash with Alcaraz. On the other side, Zverev gets his chance against Sinner.
